Sonoma executive chef/owner William (Bill) Brady will relocate his award-winning restaurant from Princeton to Worcester.
Brady said he would close the restaurant at the end of July, opening in the fall at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester in space now occupied by Ceres Bistro.
Brady’s staff at Sonoma, including Executive Chef Dan O’Sullivan, will work with him at the new location. Brady said he would retain full ownership and control of Sonoma.
Brady will devote all his time to the restaurant, and he will leave Worcester Technical High School in Worcester at the end of the school year. He is a chef/instructor in the culinary arts program at the school.
“I think it will be a good partnership,” said Brady about his decision to relocate to the Beechwood, the only AAA Four Diamond Hotel in Central Massachusetts. “It wasn’t a quick decision. I did my research.”
According to Brady, staff and chefs employed by the Beechwood would continue to handle banquets, weddings and special events scheduled in the hotel.
Brady said he would probably make a few changes to the restaurant space. “Nothing major,” he said. “We’re in pretty good shape.”
If you own a gift card to Sonoma, Brady said he would honor it at the new location.
